FreeHousePlans.in is built and run by Malwa Packers and Movers, a packers and movers company in Indore. We made this library so families can plan their new home with clear, to-scale floor plans, free and without signing up.

How the plans are made
Each plan is built from proven layouts for narrow and wide plots: bedrooms at the rear, a service strip for toilets and the stair, the living room towards the road, and parking or a sitout at the front. Every room was then checked against practical minimum sizes:
- Bedrooms at least 9 ft wide and 90 sq ft, and no longer than 1.8 times their width
- Living rooms at least 10 ft wide
- Kitchens at least 7 ft wide; toilets at least 4 ft wide
- Car bays at least 9 × 14 ft; stairs that fit a real flight
- Every plan has a stair, even single-storey homes, so the terrace can be used and another floor added later
- On duplex plans the stair is in the same place on every floor, and every floor has a toilet
- Every room has a door, and every room can be reached from the main entrance without walking through a bedroom
Plans that failed any check were dropped. 397 plans passed across 16 plot sizes.
